Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Ben & Jerry’s launch urgent product recalls

0

A number of supermarkets – including Lidl, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose – have issued urgent product recalls. A number of products have been declared unfit for consumption due to certain ingredients not listed on the labels.

Ben & Jerry’s has recalled its Moo-Phoria Peanut Butter Cookie Dough because it has the wrong lid, stating it is a Salted Caramel Brownie flavor. This means that the product poses a potential health risk for anyone allergic to peanuts.

Dolmio is recalling certain sauces because soy is not included on the label. Stores have issued apologies to customers affected by the recalls.

The recalls, issued by the Food Standards Agency, aim to ensure customers are aware that the products have a problem with them, making them unfit for sale. The Food Standards Agency issues “Product Recall Information Notices” and “Product Recall Information Notices” to inform consumers and local authorities of food-related issues.

If you purchased a recalled product, you can return it to the store with your receipt and you will receive a full refund. The latest product recalls are;
